1. Overview

This page explains the cookies and browser storage CustomerHero uses. We use only what is necessary to operate the product and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

2. Strictly necessary

These are required for the dashboard to function and cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.

  • Session token: stored in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in to the dashboard. Cleared when you sign out.

3. Functional

These remember choices you make so the product behaves the way you expect.

  • Language preference: a lang cookie (valid for up to one year, SameSite=Lax) records your chosen interface language.
  • Interface preferences: local storage keeps UI state such as theme, completed product tours, and dismissed notices.

4. Analytics

Aggregate usage analytics are collected server-side. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies and do not embed third-party tracking pixels.

5. Third-party requests

Our marketing site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Requesting these font files transmits your IP address to Google as part of the standard HTTP request. No Google cookies are set by this and the fonts are not used to track you, but we disclose it here for transparency. We do not embed other third-party content on our marketing pages.

6. Managing cookies and storage

You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Note that:

  • Clearing the session token signs you out of the dashboard.
  • Clearing the language cookie resets the interface to its default language.
  • Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent the dashboard from working.

7. Changes

If we introduce cookies or technologies that require consent (for example, analytics or advertising cookies), we will update this policy and present a consent mechanism before they are used. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
